What we collect

The only personal information this website collects is the email address you choose to give us on the waitlist form. Along with it we record the time you signed up, which form you used, your country (from your connection, not your precise location), your browser's user-agent string, and the page that referred you. We use this to understand where interest is coming from and to prioritize map regions.

How we use it

• To email you when GridDown launches, and for a small number of major updates before then.
• Nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone.

Where it lives

Sign-ups are stored in a database hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare also serves this website and may collect standard, aggregated traffic analytics. This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

Unsubscribing and deletion

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to delete your address entirely at any time by emailing hello@griddown.us.

The app

GridDown the app is designed to run entirely on your device and does not require an account. A separate privacy policy for the app will be published with its release.
